Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon City Council will hold their first meeting of the month at Noon this Wednesday June 1st. At this meeting the Council will take the next step in the process of purchasing taxable general obligation capital notes for the new Events Center. The proposed resolution sets the dollar amount at $3.4-million dollars, but this amount is subject to change.
The Council will also consider a three-year audit proposal, consider the first reading of an ordinance change in water and sewer rates and hold a discussion with regard to a Housing Study.
Wednesday’s Noon meeting will be held in the upper level of the Sheldon Community Services Center.
