Hike For All Ages To Reveal The Unseen Life Of Insects

Hawarden, Iowa — Do You Want To Be An Insect? That’s the name of a program coming up at Oak Grove Park near Hawarden through the Sioux County Conservation Board, this Saturday, June 22nd.

Sioux County Naturalist Sunday Ford tells us about it.

Ford tells us about something she learned last year.

No preregistration is required, but they would appreciate it if you would. You can register at siouxcountyparks.com. But if it’s the day of the hike and you haven’t registered, she says don’t let that stop you from coming. She says the easy hike is from 2:30 to roughly about 4:30 p.m., and they’ll meet at Deer Run Campground at Oak Grove Park on K-18 north of Hawarden. If you have any questions, you can call 712-552-3057.
