Sheldon, Iowa — A new doctor has begun seeing patients at Sanford Sheldon.
We talked to Dr. Amy Wingert, who saw her first patients on Friday, July 29th. She tells us a little about her background.
Dr. Wingert says she has an MD degree from Chicago Medical School.
Wingert says that as part of her family practice, which includes all family members, she does see OB patients.
Wingert gives us a few personal details.
She tells us why she wanted to come to Sheldon.
Sanford Sheldon officials say that Dr. Wingert will not be replacing any staff members: her position is a new one for Sanford Sheldon.
