O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New Deputy

O’Brien County, Iowa — A new face will soon be patrolling O’Brien County following the hiring of a new Sheriff’s Deputy who started work earlier this week.

O’Brien County Sheriff Allen Schuknecht says the new deputy was hired to replace a deputy who left to take a position in another county.

The Sheriff says Bracy is currrently training, and will be working in the Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office.

Bracy has a BA degree in criminology and a minor in sociology from the University of Northern Iowa.  He is a resident of O’Brien County and is active in the community.

Bracy began his new position Monday, April 10th.
