Osceola County Fair Wraps Up This Weekend

Sibley, Iowa — The Osceola County Fair is in its final hours for 2019.

At the fair in Sibley, Saturday starts off with the opening of the BBQ Cookoff at 7 a.m. At 10, you can see a chainsaw carver. The escape room at the old school is from 10 to 2. The inflatables and rides will be available from 10 to 5, and they’re free from 1 to 5 on Saturday, sponsored by the Osceola County Sportsmen’s Club.

There’s a beanbag tournament at noon. Stories for Inspiration — Diane Gabbles starts at 1. The Kids Pedal Tractor Pull starts at 2. At 3, it will be time for the Homemade Ice Cream Judging Contest. 4 p.m. is the start time for the 4H and FFA Ribbon Auction. You can meet and greet the monster truck drivers, starting at 6 p.m., and the Monster Truck Show is at 7. There will be fireworks after the Monster Truck Show. The fair wraps up when all exhibits are released at 11 a.m. Sunday.
