Sheldon Library To Close For A Few Days For Renovation Project

Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon Public Library will be closed for a few days as part of a renovation project that was announced last fall.

Library Director Nicole Morgan tells KIWA the library will be closed from Thursday, July 12th, through Monday, July 16th, to allow time for some of the work to be done.

She says if you have books checked out that are due to be returned during the time the library is closed, have no fear.

Morgan says many of the library’s renovation projects have been completed.

We asked her what parts of the renovation remain to be completed.

She says volunteer help is needed at the library this Saturday.

The Sheldon Public Library Renovation Project was announced last September, and is designed to make the library a warm and welcoming environment for all ages, while making the most effective use of the space available.
