Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon United Fund Board honored twenty-four Sheldon businesses and organizations for their role in the successful 2017 United Fund Drive.
Representatives of the honored organizations were presented Certificates of Appreciation during an Appreciation Coffee held at the Sheldon Community Services Center Friday morning.
Businesses and organizations honored include: Cain-Ellsworth and Co; Citizens State Bank; Whorley Heidman Law Firm; Iowa State Bank; Maintainer Corporation; Northwestern Bank; NCC; Peoples Bank; Perspective Insurance; Sanford Sheldon Medical Center; O’Brien County Implement; Poppema-Sikma Construction; Sheldon Vision Care; Village Northwest Unlimited; Woods Fuller Schultz Law Office; Iowa Information; KIWA Radio; DK Plastics; Eagles Club; Sheldon Community Schools; Sheldon Family Dental Clinic; Vogel Paint & Glass; AGP; and Lewis Family Drug.
The 2018 Sheldon United Fund Drive began Monday, October 1st, and will run through December 31st, with a goal of $31-thousand.
