After winnings the class A state championship a year ago West Sioux bids for the 1A crown Friday morning when the Falcons play second rated Dike-New Hartford.
That’s West Sioux coach Ryan Schwiesow. Schwiesow feels a demanding schedule has them prepared. West Sioux’s only loss was to a class 2A second ranked Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley team that is also playing for a state championship.
Junior quarterback Hunter Dekkers has thrown for 43 touchdowns this season.
It is Dike-New Hartford’s first trip to the title game since finishing second in 2010.
