A Community Resource Fair will be held Wednesday, May 6th from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Haven Building on the RiseFest Festival Grounds, 112 Country Club Road in Sheldon.
Accessing services can be challenging in rural communities. This event is designed to bring valuable resources directly to Iowans. The goal is to bring together a variety of local partners, individuals, and families to learn about the resources and services available in their area, all in one place. The IowaWORKS Mobile Workforce Center will also be available to provide on-the-spot support.
Participating partners include ASK Resources, Upper Des Moines Opportunity, Family Alliance for Veterans of America, Iowa Total Care, IowaWORKS, Love INC, Mid‑Sioux Opportunity, the City of Sheldon, Seasons Center, Molina Healthcare, Spencer Community Health Center, Northwest Iowa Community College, Northwest Iowa Housing Authority, Village Northwest, Disability Access Point, Your Life Iowa PCA and Wellpoint.
