River’s Bend in Rock Valley will host a Father’s Day Pancakes & Panfish event on Saturday, June 20th.
A pancake feed begins at 8 a.m. with a free‑will donation benefiting the Rock Valley Ambulance Association. Fishing starts at 10 a.m. at the pond.
All ages are welcome, with children 8 and under requiring an adult. Poles and bait are provided, or participants may bring their own. Those 16 and older must have a valid Iowa fishing license to actively fish. There is no cost, and entrance fees are waived for participants. Fishing preregistration is required by calling River’s Bend Campground at 712‑476‑6065.
