The Ashton American Legion invites everyone to a Flag Day Community Potluck & Photo on Sunday, June 14th, honoring America’s 250th birthday.
Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Legion Hall. Guests are asked to bring a dish to share; tableware and drinks will be provided.
A nationally recognized Quilt of Valor will be presented to three veterans during the evening. At 7 p.m., the community will gather on Main Street for a group photo featuring 250 people waving flags. All are welcome to take part in this historic moment.
The event is hosted by the American Legion, Legion Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion.
