Okoboji Summer Theatre will present “The Cottage” July 14th through 19th — a sharp, witty comedy that mixes romance, secrets, and just enough chaos to keep everyone guessing.
Set in the English countryside, the story follows Sylvia and Beau during their annual rendezvous, a meeting that goes sideways fast when both of their spouses show up at the cottage. What follows is a playful tangle of mistaken motives, shifting loyalties, and big laughs as the truth slowly and hilariously unravels. Directed by Rob McKercher, the production features Stephens College Conservatory students alongside returning OST guest artists Mollie Craven and Sean Birkett.
Curtain times are Tuesday through Saturday at 8 p.m., with a Saturday matinee at 4:30 p.m. and a Sunday performance at 6 p.m. (No Thursday evening show.)
