Sierra Meyer, a senior nursing student from Doon, Iowa, will present a saxophone recital on Friday, January 31st, at 7 p.m. in the B.J. Haan Auditorium at Dordt University.
Meyers’ program will feature the three movements of Sonata for Eb Saxophone and Piano by Paul Creston, Caprice en Forme de Valse by Paul Bonneau, and the first movement of Concerto for Alto Saxophone and Piano by Charles L. Booker. These pieces will showcase her versatility in both classical and jazz saxophone repertoire.
