A Chautauqua (was an event in rural America that peaked in popularity at the turn of the last century. It brought entertainment and culture to the whole community, with speakers, musicians, showmen, preachers, and specialists of the day.

Victorian Morning Tea is the Hull Historical Society’s re-creation of Chautauqua to be held on Saturday, March 15, 9:30am at American Reformed Church. Cost is $150/table of six or $30/each. Reservations are required, space is limited. To make reservations, call 712-439-6770. A light brunch with coffee and tea will be served.
