Sioux Center, Iowa — An Akron woman struck a deer on Tuesday, April 19th near Sioux Center. The Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident on April 20th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’ Office reports that at about 5:45 am on Tuesday, 24-year-old Carmen Vreugdenhil of Akron was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Impala northbound on Elmwood Avenue, seven miles southwest of Sioux Center. According to the report, Vreugdenhil struck a deer in the roadway.
The Impala received $2500.
