Rock Rapids, Iowa — A Rock Rapids man’s vehicle was damaged after striking a cow west of Rock Rapids on Tuesday, November 8th.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office reports that 22-year-old Eric Wynia of Rock Rapids was driving his vehicle northbound on Ibex Avenue. According to the report, A cow entered the roadway from the east ditch and was struck by Wynia.
Wynia’s vehicle received $7,000 damage. The cow died and was valued at $1000
