Ashton Woman Taken To Hospital After Accident North Of Little Rock

Little Rock, Iowa– An Ashton woman was taken to the hospital after an accident near Little Rock on Sunday, October 9, 2022.

The Iowa State Patrol reports that at about 3:30 p.m., 58-year-old Michelle Boone of Ashton was driving a 2016 Chevy SUV southbound on Marsh Avenue or L26, three miles north of Little Rock, and less than a mile from the state line.

The report says that Boone crossed the center line and her SUV left the roadway. It then traveled in the ditch south to the intersection of 110th Street and Marsh Avenue where it vaulted the intersection, rolled end over end, and came to rest on the passenger side facing northeast.

The Little Rock Ambulance took Boone to Osceola Regional Health Center Hospital. She was said to have “possible minor injuries.”

Boone’s Chevy SUV sustained $15,000 in damages, which was enough to total the vehicle.

Boone was charged with failure to maintain control.
