Hull, Iowa — Sioux County authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle that was involved in a hit and run crash near Hull Friday night.
On Saturday, August 15, at 9:46 a.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Ironwood Avenue, two miles northeast of Hull, IA.
Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that a vehicle lost control, entered the ditch and struck a North West REC electrical utility pole. The vehicle left the area and was not found.
The incident happened at on Friday, August 14, at approximately 11:00 p.m. The striking vehicle is believed to be a Dodge Ram pickup, possibly white in color.
The electrical equipment sustained approximately $1,000 in damage.
