Deputies Seek Assistance Solving Attempted Burglary Case In Boyden

Boyden, Iowa — Sioux County Sheriff deputies are seeking the public’s help to solve an attempted burglary case.

On Thursday, August 13, shortly after 5 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of an attempted burglary that occurred at a home on Grant Street in Boyden.

Deputies believe that sometime between Wednesday, August 12, at 10:00 a.m., and Thursday, August 13, at 1:00 p.m., someone attempted to break into the residence. They tell us the door frame and door handle were damaged during the crime but entry to the home was not gained and nothing was stolen.

Deputies say that if you saw any suspicious activity or people on Grant Street during that time frame, they would like you to contact the sheriff’s office.
