Boyden, Iowa — A Boyden man was arrested late last week on a total of five felony sex-related charges.
According to court records, 29-year-old Damian Schouten is charged with one count of 2nd Degree Sexual Abuse, a Class B Felony, as well as four counts of 3rd Degree Sexual Abuse, Class C Felonies, for allegedly forcing himself on women in incidents dating back as far as 2015.
According to online court records, a warrant for Schouten’s arrest on the charges was issued early last week and he was taken into custody Thursday. Schouten was released on bond, with a Preliminary Hearing set for September 28th.
