Boyden, Iowa — A Boyden woman was taken to a hospital after an accident on Friday near that town.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that 31-year-old Kayla Oldenkamp of Boyden was driving a 2011 Ford Flex southbound on Kennedy Avenue a mile north of Boyden, when she lost control of the vehicle, which entered the east ditch and rolled.
The Boyden Ambulance took Oldenkamp to Sioux Center Health. Her injuries were described as “minor.”
The Sheriff’s Office says the Ford sustained about $8,000 in damage.
They tell us Oldenkamp was cited on a charge of failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle.
