Hospers, Iowa — A Hospers man was arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges as the result of an alleged domestic assault Wednesday night.
Court records indicate that 29-year-old Adam Greenfield is accused of assaulting his wife at their home around 9:30 Wednesday evening. Deputies say Greenfield allegedly pulled his wife’s hair while she was holding the couple’s 1-year-old son, causing her to fall to the ground, dropping the child. Deputies say the boy bit his tongue in his fall to the ground, causing him to bleed from the mouth.
Greenfield was placed under arrest and charged with: Felony Child Endangerment for the injuries to his son; and 1st Offense Domestic Abuse Assault, a Simple Misdemeanor, for the alleged assault on his wife.
A Preliminary Hearing in the case is set for Tuesday, December 21st in Sioux County Magistrate Court, according to online court records.
