Four People Wind Up In Hospital After Sibley Area Crash

Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley woman and three of her passengers were taken to a hospital after an accident near Sibley.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 1:40 p.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2018, 40-year-old Verlicia Eden of Sibley was driving a 2007 Chevy minivan eastbound on Highway 9, between the Sibley corner and Little Rock.

The report says that she drove onto the shoulder of the road and then lost control due to overcorrection. It says the vehicle then entered the south ditch.

The Sibley Ambulance took Eden and the three passengers to Osceola Community Hospital.

Eden’s Chevy sustained about $100 in damages.
