Rock Rapids, Iowa – A George man was arrested this past Friday for driving drunk near Rock Rapids.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office tells us one of their deputy’s did a traffic stop for 40-year-old Brady Lee Riemersma of George. The deputy reported that Riemersma was driving at 84-miles-per-hour in a 55-mile-per-hour zone.
Upon futher investigation, Riemersma was proven to be under the influence of alcohol, was arrested and sent to the Lyon County Jail on a $1,000 bond and cited for speeding.
