Hartley Man Arrested, Facing Two Counts Of Sexual Abuse Of A Child

Hartley, Iowa — A Hartley man has been arrested, facing accusations he sexually abused two children about seven years ago.

According to a criminal complaint filed with the O’Brien County Clerk of Court’s office, 35-year-old Nicholas Paul William Stallman faces two class B felony counts of Second Degree Sexual Abuse after the alleged victims in the case came forward and said that about seven years ago Stallman inappropriately touched them.

If convicted of a class B felony, Stallman could face up to 25 years in prison.

He was arrested on Tuesday, but was released that same day after posting bond. He faces a court date on August 30th.
