Hartley Man Arrested On Felony Drug Charge

Hartley, Iowa — A Hartley man is facing a felony narcotics charge after allegedly being found in possession of methamphetamine for the third time.

According to court records, a Hartley police officer was dispatched to a residence in that community early Wednesday afternoon for a report that someone had found methamphetamine that allegedly belonged to 37-year-old Cory Ray Mohni of Hartley. The officer stated he was told by the homeowner that Mohni was in the home’s garage, where the meth had been found.

Police say they made contact with Mohni, who allegedly admitted that he had possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia in his pocket, as well as in a tool box in the garage.
