Sheldon, Iowa — Law enforcement officers are investigating a death at a Sheldon hotel.
Sheldon Police Chief Scott Burtch says that on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, the Sheldon Police received a call of a deceased person at the Holiday Inn. Burtch says the death is currently under investigation with the assistance of the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
Burch says, “We do not believe there is any danger to the public.”
He says they will provide updates when information becomes available.
