Hull, Iowa — A Le Mars man was taken to a hospital after an accident between two pickups near Hull on Wednesday, July 26th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that about 3:30 p.m., 32-year-old Casey Jacobsen of Le Mars was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on 330th Street, about a mile southeast of Hull. They report that 24-year-old Joseph Meyer of Hull was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado northbound on Ibex Avenue. The pickups collided in the intersection.
The Hull Ambulance took Jacobsen to the Sioux Center Health System Hospital. Meyer reported minor injuries and sought medical attention on his own.
The Jacobsen pickup sustained about $20,000 in damage. The Meyer pickup sustained about $15,000 in damage.
Jacobsen was cited on a charge of failure to yield to a vehicle on the right.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that the Hull Ambulance Squad and Hull Fire Department assisted on the scene.
