Marcus, Iowa — A Marcus man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a late-night lawnmower rollover.
According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened late Tuesday night, shortly before midnight. 36-year-old Josh Weber was mowing at the top of the ditch southwest of Cherokee near 560th Street and G Avenue when the mower went into a ditch, rolled on top of Weber, and trapped him in the ditch.
Upon arrival, authorities were able to get Weber out from under the mower. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
