Sioux Center, Iowa — No injuries were reported after a head-on collision near Sioux Center on Friday, June 16th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just after 1:40 pm on Friday, 77-year-old Earl Heibult of Albuquerque, New Mexico was driving a 2015 BMW X3 northbound on Highway 75, three miles north of Sioux Center. Thirty-six-year-old Jeff Burdette of Alton was driving a 1999 Ford Mustang southbound on Highway 75. According to the report, Burdette crossed the center line and struck Heibult.
The BMW received $10,000 damage. The Ford received $5,000 damage.
