Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City man faces a felony charge following an incident in Orange City earlier this month.
According to information released by the Orange City Police Department, the arrest of 22 year old Gabriel Alexander Barajas stems for their investigation into an incident that happened earlier this month. Police say Barajas is accused of breaking into an Orange City home on March 1st. Cops say there was a no-contact order in place at the time of the break-in between Barajas and the home’s owner.
About 3:45am Saturday,March 9th the Orange City Police Department arrested Barajas on arrest warrants stemming from the March 1st incident.
Police say he faces a charge of Burglary in the 2nd Degree, which is a Class C Felony, and Violation of a No-Contact Order, a simple misdemeanor.
According to online Sioux County Jail Records, Barajas was bonded out of jail later on Saturday.
