Ireton, Iowa — Two people were taken to the hospital in a single-vehicle rollover accident early Thursday (March 7th) evening on Eagle Avenue, two miles north of Ireton.
According to a report from the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office 23-year-old Jhoana Topete‐Curiel of Hawarden was southbound on Eagle Avenue in a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup when she lost control of the vehicle, entered the west ditch and rolled.
Deputies say Topete‐Curiel and a 15 year‐old passenger were transported by the Ireton Ambulance to the Hawarden Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Damage to the pickup was estimated to be approximately $4-thousand.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Ireton Fire Department and Ireton Ambulance.
