Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City man faces charges of Felony Domestic Abuse Assault, and Violation of a No-Contact Order following a pair of incidents over the past few days in Orange City.

According to court records, Orange City Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on 5th Street Northeast in Orange City. According to court records, the female victim in the incident alleged that she and her husband had been arguing, and that he had pushed and kicked her multiple times, and that he had taken her cell phone from her when she tried to call 911. Responding officers reportedly noticed marks on the victim from the alleged assault.
