Orange City, Iowa — Orange City officials are having to scramble to get some graffiti covered up before an event this Wednesday. And Orange City Police officers are looking for the person or people responsible.
The Orange City Police Department, with the help of the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, has released some photos of both the graffiti, which includes profanity and a possible suspect. They say the vandalism occurred in both Windmill Park and Veterans Park.
The timing couldn’t have been much worse, with the Sioux County Relay For Life, including a pork sandwich meal and an Orange City Band concert set for this Wednesday night in Windmill Park. Organizers say up to 400 people are expected to attend.
