Orange City, Iowa — An Orange City teen struck a parked car on Tuesday, March 15th in Orange City.
The Orange City Police Department reports that at about 8:09 am Tuesday morning, 17-year-old Daniel Roghair of Orange City was driving a 2009 Ford Fusion eastbound on 5th Street southeast in Orange City. A 2011 Ford F-150, owned by Melissa Netten of Orange City was parked legally on 5th Street southeast. According to the report, Roghair stated that his windshield was fogged over, and trying to wipe it clean. He did not see the pickup, struck the pickup and spun around and came to a stop.
The Fusion received $2000 damage. The F-150 received $6,500 damage.
No injuries were reported.
