Primghar Resident Taken To Hospital After Spencer Area Accident

Spencer, Iowa — A Primghar resident was injured in a single-vehicle crash northwest of Spencer early on Saturday.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, in the 2 a.m. hour, 33-year-old Taylor Einck was driving a 1994 GMC Sierra pickup westbound on Highway 18 in the 2000 mile when Einck veered across the oncoming lane of traffic, striking a bridge guardrail.

Einck was taken to the Spencer Hospital by ambulance.

Authorities say the accident is still under investigation and charges are expected.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the Spencer Police Department, Spencer Fire Department, and Fostoria First Responders assisted with the response to the accident.
