Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley man faces a litany of criminal charges in connection with incidents in Rock Valley in December and January.
According to court records obtained by KIWA, 39-year-old Seth Van Kekerix is accused of taking a relative’s pickup without permission on three separate occasions, driving it with a barred drivers license to a Rock Valley convenience store, putting fuel into the truck and forging the owner’s signature on the charge slip for the fuel.
According to court records, Van Kekerix is charged with multiple counts of: Forgery, a Class D Felony; Operating a Vehicle Without the Owner’s Consent, an Aggravated Misdemeanor; Driving While Barred, an Aggravated Misdemeanor; and 5th Degree Theft by Fraud, a Simple Misdemeanor.
According to online court records, Van Kekerix will face a Preliminary Hearing in the case Thursday, March 31st in Sioux County Magistrate Court.
