Rock Valley Resident Faces Felony Drug Charges

Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley resident faces a felony drug charge.

The Rock Valley Police Department reports that they arrested 27-year-old Taylor Johnson of Rock Valley on Wednesday on a warrant for a charge of Aiding and Abetting the Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance-methamphetamine within one thousand feet of a public park; a class C felony.

Johnson was booked into the Sioux County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

The arrest stems from an investigation of a methamphetamine lab discovered on October 11, 2014 in Rock Valley.

Police say the investigation continues and more charges and arrests are expected.

The Rock Valley Police Department says the Sioux County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Rock Valley Fire Department, and the Rock Valley Ambulance crew assisted them.
