Rock Valley, Iowa — A Rock Valley teen was injured in an accident on Friday, December 30th near Rock Valley.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 12:15 am on Friday, 16-year-old Bradyn Davelaar of Rock Valley was driving a 2005 F-350 southbound on Dipper Avenue, six miles northwest of Rock Valley. According to the report, Davelaar lost control of the pickup at a T intersection, entered the north ditch and struck a ditch
embankment. The Ford came to rest in a farm field.
A passenger in the vehicle, Braelee Rus, age 16, of Rock Valley was transported by private vehicle to the Rock Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The Ford received $4,000 damage.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Rock Valley Police Department.
