George, Iowa — Lyon County authorities investigated a two-vehicle crash near George Saturday.
According to the report from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Kennedy Ave and 180th Street.
Deputies say that a 2013 Chrysler 200 driven by Tayla Hinrichs, of George, was in the process of turning south on Kennedy Ave when she was struck by a northbound 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by Mason Koster, of Ashton.
Each vehicle received an estimated $15,000 in damages, according to authorities.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by the Lyon County Ambulance, George Fire Department, George EMS, Little Rock Ambulance, and Trackside Towing.
