Sheldon Juvenile Charged In Connection With Rural Hospers Burglary

Hospers, Iowa — The investigation into a burglary that was reported to Sioux County authorities Sunday morning has led to the arrest of a Sheldon teen.

According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, the burglary occurred at a residence on Kingbird Avenue, three miles southwest of Hospers.

Deputies say their initial investigation revealed that someone had entered a building and made off with two handguns.

As a result of their investigation, deputies say they discovered that a 17-year-old male juvenile from Sheldon was the person who entered the building on the property and stole the handguns.

Wednesday morning (August 12th), the juvenile was charged with Burglary and Theft, according to Sioux County authorities.
