Sheldon, Iowa — A Sheldon man was injured in a collision at a Sheldon intersection on Tuesday, May 9th.
The Sheldon Police Department reports that just after 5:15 pm on Tuesday, 54-year-old Roy Stephenson of Sheldon was driving a 2015 Yamaha Moped northbound on 8th Avenue in Sheldon. Seventy-five-year-old Rebecca Boyer of Sheldon was driving a 1999 Subaru Imprezza westbound on 10th Street. According to the report, Stephenson was following a vehicle through an uncontrolled intersection and Boyer struck Stephenson in the intersection.
The moped received $150 damage; the Subaru received $1,000 damage.
Stephenson received minor injuries but declined further medical attention.
