Maurice, Iowa — A Sheldon man was taken to the Sioux Center Hospital after his vehicle rolled near Maurice on Wednesday, July 6th.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at 8:10 am on Wednesday, 27-year-old Yaroslav Yermolenko, of Sheldon, was driving a 1988 Freightliner Straight Truck southbound on Goldfinch Avenue, two miles northwest of Maurice. According to the report, Yermolenko lost control of the vehicle, entered the east ditch where the truck rolled onto its side.
The Freightliner received $25,000 damage.
Yermolenko was taken to the Sioux Center Hospital by private vehicle for treatment of his injuries.
