UPDATE: Stolen Vehicle Recovered

Sheldon, Iowa — A car reported stolen in Sheldon last week has been recovered in Sioux City.

On Friday morning Sheldon Police received a report of a silver 1997 Oldsmobile 88 that had been taken from 530 North 2nd Avenue in Sheldon on Monday, July 13th.

The car, which was registered to a Sibley resident, was recovered by Sioux City Police Sunday.

The investigation into that car theft is continuing.

Sheldon, Iowa — Sheldon Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from an address on North 2nd Avenue, or Business 60 North.

According to a report from the Sheldon Police Department, they received a report Friday morning (July 17th) of the theft of a silver 1997 Oldsmobile 88 that had been taken from 530 North 2nd Avenue this past Monday.

Authorities report the vehicle is registered to a party from Sibley. The investigation is ongoing.
