Sibley Man Arrested, Accused Of Trying To Pass Funny Money

Sibley, Iowa — A Sibley man faces a felony charge following his arrest Friday in Sibley.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Johnson Isaac of Sibley is charged with Forgery, which is a Class D Felony.

Authorities say the arrest stemmed from a report of Isaac allegedly attempting to make a purchase at a business in Sibley using counterfeit bills.

Isaac was placed under arrest and booked into the Osceola County Jail on a $5-thousand bond.
