Sioux Center Man Dies, Two Passengers Injured In Arkansas Crash

Harrison, Arkansas — A Sioux Center man was killed early Sunday morning when the pickup he was driving was struck by a semi in Boone County, Arkansas.

The Harrison Arkansas Daily Times reports that sixty-eight-year-old Dennis Gene Visser of Sioux Center was traveling on U.S Highway 65 and attempted to make a U-turn, when his pickup was struck by an 18-wheeler, which was traveling behind the Visser pickup.

The report indicates that Visser’s passengers, sixty-year-old Harvey Dean Mulder and sixty-two-year-old Verlyn Jay Mulder were both taken to North Arkansas Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

The crash reportedly happened at 5:27 Sunday morning.
