Sioux Center, Iowa — A Sioux Center man was injured Friday evening in an ATV crash near Sioux Center.
According to the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office, about 7:35 Friday evening, 38-year-old Preston Kroeze of Sioux Center was driving a 2020 Polaris ATV in a field one-quarter mile west of Sioux Center when he lost control and rolled the ATV.
Deputies say Kroeze was extricated from the ATV by emergency personnel and transported by the Sioux Center Ambulance to Sioux Center Health.
The Polaris sustained an estimated $2,000 in damage.
Authorities believe alcohol may be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Sioux Center Fire Department, Sioux Center Ambulance, Sioux Center Police Department and Iowa State Patrol.
