Sioux City Man Taken To Hospital, Then Jail After Rolling Pickup

Carnes, Iowa — A Sioux City man was taken to the hospital and then to jail after rolling his pickup near Carnes on Wednesday, July 26th.

The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that at about 10:10 a.m., 24-year-old Trebor Mosey of Sioux City was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup northbound on Highway 60 near Carnes (about five and a half miles south of Orange City), when he lost control of the vehicle, which entered the median and rolled.

The Orange City Ambulance took Mosey to Orange City Area Health.

The Ford sustained approximately $7,000 in damage.

Upon further investigation, the deputy suspected that Mosey was under the influence of alcohol.

Authorities say that upon Mosey’s release from medical care, he was transported to the Sioux County Jail where he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle without liability insurance.
