Sioux Sheriff Seeks Info On Rural Sheldon Burglary

Sheldon, Iowa– Earlier this week the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office investigated a report of burglary and theft that occurred at a residential property on McKinley Avenue, south of Sheldon. Deputies say their investigation revealed that someone stole a 2009 utility trailer and a John Deere zero‐turn lawn mower from the property. According to authorities the trailer is black, 7’ wide by 12’ long and made by PJ Trailers.

The mower is described as having a 60” deck with a “Siouxland Propane” decal on the side. Sioux County authorities say they believe the theft occurred sometime between Monday, February 4 and Monday, February 25th.
