Spencer, Iowa — (RI) — A Spencer woman was driving a car that struck and killed a pedestrian on Interstate 380 in eastern Iowa Tuesday morning.
It happened about 5:00 Tuesday morning in the southbound lanes of I-380 in Buchanan County. According to an Iowa State Patrol Crash Report, 31-year old Ashley Call, of Spencer, was driving a car that struck and killed 21-year old Angelica Soto, of Cedar Rapids, who was on the interstate and, according to troopers, “walked into traffic”.
Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
